The Ballout Residence in Adsheet Al Quasair embodies a dialogue between modernity, environmental stewardship, and cultural rootedness. Situated just 6.5 kilometers from the Israeli border, the design responds to its context with sensitivity and intention. The two-story U-shaped home embraces a central communal courtyard, a verdant sanctuary framed by mature trees and lush vegetation. This inward focus transforms the courtyard into the heart of the residence, where light, air, and nature converge to shape the living experience. The architecture opens generously toward this shared space, creating a seamless flow between interior and exterior while preserving the privacy and intimacy of the family quarters. Balancing openness and seclusion, the Ballout Residence reinterprets traditional spatial principles to reflect its environment and the cultural heritage of the village.
