This project exemplifies contemporary architecture’s response to the need for a more dynamic and engaging urban aesthetic in Lebanese suburbs. The three-story building features a balanced design that merges commercial and residential functions. The ground floor hosts two commercial stores with expansive glass storefronts, while the first and second floors each contain two apartments, characterized by large floor-to-ceiling windows and glass-balustraded balconies. The facade combines smooth white stucco, natural stone, and dark metal trim, with brushed aluminum canopies adding a modern touch. This design not only enhances visual character but also prioritizes the spatial experience, addressing the often-flat, monotonous facades prevalent in the region. This project seeks to reinvigorate architectural practice by fostering a dialogue between the building and its users, ultimately creating spaces that resonate with the concept of place.
