KHATTAR RESIDENCE

The Khattar Residence unfolds as a spatial dialogue between interior connectivity and landscape immersion. Designed as a single-family home with a duplex configuration, the residence is anchored by a dynamic vertical void that seamlessly links the upper family room to the lower salon. This spatial connection is positioned at the home’s most defining feature—a panoramic view of the olive groves that stretch below, where the horizon becomes an ever-present backdrop to daily life.

The architecture leverages this visual axis, framing the landscape as both a focal point and a canvas for seasonal change, while the interplay between levels fosters a sense of familial cohesion. Materials were selected not merely for their aesthetic value but for their tactile qualities, evoking warmth, texture, and a sense of quiet luxury. In this layering of space, view, and materiality, the Khattar Residence becomes an extension of its environment, offering its inhabitants a home that is both expansive and intimate, where the act of dwelling is enriched by connection—to each other and to the land.
